Robin True

Owner of RBT Instruction, Robin has been an instructor with the Red Cross since 2005 teaching First Aid, First Responder and Emergency Medical Responder. From 2005-2012 Robin was a Master Instructor Trainer with the Canadian Red Cross for the Atlantic region. He has been in the fire service since 1994 and is a licenced paramedic in the province of New Brunswick. Robin is also an active fire service and technical rescue instructor.

Krista Clarke-True

Krista operate RBT Instruction with her husband Robin. She is currently a full time licenced Paramedic in New Brunswick. Though she does teach First Aid she has a real passion for CPR/AED training. Krista has a strong financial and business background and is the friendly voice you hear when you call. Krista is your contact person for all course arrangements.

Janet Hamilton

One of our most experienced instructors ,Janet Hamilton has been involved in the training profession in one way or another for over 25 years. She began as Canadian Red Cross Water Safety instructor in 1989 and became a Canadian Water Safety instructor Trainer in 1990 and continued with that until 1997. At the same time in 1994 she became a Canadian Red Cross First Aid instructor and then an Instructor Trainer in 1998 which she continues with today. Janet was one of the first two lifeguards in Canada to receive her First Responder certification. In addition to Janet’s paid positions she has done and continues to do many volunteer duties, including Disaster Management volunteer feeding officer with the Red Cross for over 10 years, and a past member of the provincial board of directors for the Canadian Red cross.

 Christopher (Chris) Steeves

Christopher (Chris) Steeves

Chris is a Red Cross First Aid Instructor. He is retired from business but, as an independent representative of an international financial services company, teaches “financial first aid” to middle-income families. He is a ground school instructor with Moncton Flight College, teaching wilderness survival to student pilots. Chris also provides rope and high-angle rescue instruction to emergency service personnel, as well as rappelling and climbing guide training to adventure companies and individuals. He is a volunteer with the local ground search and rescue team and is trained as a Wilderness First Responder/ Wilderness and Remote First Aider. In addition, he is a ham radio operator and teaches radio operating procedures.

Tyler Thomas

Tyler Thomas, from the Village of Gagetown, is currently a First Aid Instructor with RBT Instruction, he is also a fire service Instructor and has 15 years experience with the fire service as an active firefighter.

“I enjoy teaching mainly because of the interaction with so many different people, I also enjoy passing on some of my own knowledge. I feel that everybody can learn from each other and bring that attitude to the class room. I look forward to my future classes and would like to thank RBT Instruction for bringing me on board.”

Nicole Losier

As a single mother of two grown children, Nicole has everything needed to teach a babysitting course. But with 16 years of teaching catechism, 5 years as a Scout leader and 5 years as a babysitting instructor, she excels as an instructor.

“I started teaching catechism to get outside my comfort zone.  By doing so, I discovered a talent that I enjoyed and decided to expand on it by becoming a scout leader and teaching babysitting classes.  I really enjoy the interaction I have with the children.”

Robert Strickland

Robert Strickland – EMR/FR Instructor

Robert Strickland was born in Harbour Le Cou, a small out port of Newfoundland. After spending 15 years in the navy as a submariner, he decided he needed a change so he became a full time firefighter. After completing 21 years he is now employed at 5CDSB Gagetown. He became an EMR instructor three years ago to improve the medical responses at his fire hall. He instructs everything from First Aid to EMR through out New Brunswick. He resides in Burton, New Brunswick, with his wife and two kids.

Steven Coffin

Steven Coffin – First Aid Instructor (Saint John)

Steven has been working as a Paramedic since 2009 and his instructing with the Red Cross started in 2015.

Steven has also been trained and working in many industrial settings, such as The Irving Oil refinery in Saint John, providing medical coverage as well as confined space rescue.

He really enjoys educating, and training in First Aid, and is a great addition to the team.
